Is this product vegan?

Yes - this formula is vegan, with no animal-derived ingredients, and is certified cruelty-free. Our formulations are also free of parabens, mineral oils, sulfates, and silicones. We manufacture in the UK and use high-quality, plant-based ingredients inspired by Cowshed's British spa heritage.

Does this product contain parabens?

No, our full range is free of parabens and mineral oils. Cowshed products are vegan, sulphate-free and silicone-free. We are also gluten-free and certified cruelty-free.

Is this product suitable for sensitive skin?

This formula is designed to be gentle and skin-respectful, using naturally derived ingredients, amino acid cleansers, and botanical extracts that help support the skin barrier. We don't use any sulfates or silicones to ensure our products are non-drying. However, as with all skincare, we recommend checking the full ingredient list and carrying out a patch test if you have known sensitivities.

Is this product sulphate free?

Yes, all Cowshed bath and shower gels are both sulphate-free and silicone-free. We use an amino acid cleansing system that gently cleanses the skin without stripping natural oils, helping to maintain balance and support overall hair health. This helps respect the skin barrier and are suitable for daily use. Our formulations are also vegan and free of parabens and mineral oils.

The best moisturiser I have ever used

My skin is very dry in winter and this is the only moisturiser that keeps my skin hydrated. It smells amazing and is super rich and creamy.

Have never looked back ever since I tried this moisturiser. It smells divine and is the perfect thickness and texture. Love it!

Luxury light feeling to this moisturiser. Not sticky. Would highly recommend. Use after the toner. They compliment each other very well.

Lovely day cream. I have combination skin so find it hard to find a cream that feels moisturised and not too oily. This one definately does the job! Smells great and skin feels fresh and soft throughout the day.

As somebody who suffers with sensitive skin I find it really hard to find skincare that works for me. As soon however as I started using Cowshed's Essential Daily Moisturiser I knew I was onto a winner. It has transformed my skin from being dry and red to smooth and soft - I would never swap from this product it has transformed my daily skincare routine!

Love this moisturiser. Having really sensitive skin I have struggled to find a moisturiser that suits my skin.
