Who is the Boost range for?

Boost is Cowshed's volumising hair range - a fresh, juicy blend designed to bring volume, movement, and a feel-good energy back to fine or flat hair. Light and lively at first, settling into a clean, modern finish. It's ideal for fine, flat, or lifeless hair that needs volume at the roots and a lighter feel through the lengths. Never heavy, never overdone.

How do I use this conditioner?

After shampooing, apply to mid-lengths and ends, avoiding the roots if your hair is fine. Leave for 1 to 2 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Is this product vegan?

Yes - this formula is vegan, with no animal-derived ingredients, and is certified cruelty-free. Our formulations are also free of parabens, mineral oils, sulfates, and silicones. We manufacture in the UK and use high-quality, plant-based ingredients inspired by Cowshed's British spa heritage.

Are your hair products sulfate-free?

Yes, all Cowshed shampoos are both sulfate-free and silicone-free. We use an amino acid cleansing system that gently cleanses the hair and scalp without stripping natural oils, helping to maintain balance and support overall hair health. Our formulations are also vegan and free of parabens and mineral oils.

Does this product contain parabens?

No, our full range is free of parabens and mineral oils. Cowshed products are vegan, sulfate-free and silicone-free. We are also gluten-free and certified cruelty-free.

Are the fragrances synthetic or natural?

Our original fragrances were inspired by the walled garden at Babington House in Somerset. Each scent is designed to deliver a sensorial experience, from the calming lavender & eucalyptus of Relax, made for moments when everything feels a little too much, to the energising lemongrass, ginger, & rosemary of Active. Across the range, our formulas are designed to be both effective and considerate, using amino acid cleansing systems, moisture-locking complexes and UK-grown botanicals to support healthy, balanced skin. The Boost Shampoo and Conditioner is wonderful, however I think my hair needed a more hydrating set as it doesn't necessarily give it the nourishment my hair needs
