No. Although we use a rich oil blend, it's formulated to absorb with a non-greasy finish. This fast-absorbing oil is designed for nourishment without heaviness. For days when you don't have time to wait.

Yes - this formula is vegan, with no animal-derived ingredients, and is certified cruelty-free. Our formulations are also free of parabens, mineral oils, sulfates, and silicones. We manufacture in the UK and use high-quality, plant-based ingredients inspired by Cowshed's British spa heritage.

Does this product contain parabens?

No, our full range is free of parabens and mineral oils. Cowshed products are vegan, sulfate-free and silicone-free. We are also gluten-free and certified cruelty-free.

Is this product sulfate free?

Yes, all Cowshed bath and shower gels are both sulfate-free and silicone-free. We use an amino acid cleansing system that gently cleanses the skin without stripping natural oils, helping to maintain balance and support overall hair health. This helps respect the skin barrier and are suitable for daily use. Our formulations are also vegan and free of parabens and mineral oils.

Is this product suitable for sensitive skin?

This formula is designed to be gentle and skin-respectful, using naturally derived ingredients, amino acid cleansers, and botanical extracts that help support the skin barrier. We don't use any sulfates or silicones to ensure our products are non-drying. I'm sorry to only rate this 2 stars but was sent a body oil. Customer service said it was the same product but as it was a Xmas present I wanted it to say bath and body oil- I've spoken to customer service 3x but still not heard if they can rectify this so I have sent it back.
