Designed with new and expecting mothers in mind, our Mother Stretch Mark Balm is a specially formulated blend of natural oils that encourage elasticity to minimise the appearance of stretch marks. Virgin Coconut, Rosehip and Cranberry Seed oils soften and smooth the skin, while vitamin, mineral and omega-rich Sea Buckthorn Oil works to deeply nourish and protect the skin.

Is this product suitable for sensitive skin?

This formula is designed to be gentle and skin-respectful, using naturally derived ingredients, amino acid cleansers, and botanical extracts that help support the skin barrier. We don't use any sulfates or silicones to ensure our products are non-drying. However, as with all skincare, we recommend checking the full ingredient list and carrying out a patch test if you have known sensitivities.

Does this product contain parabens?

No, our full range is free of parabens and mineral oils. Cowshed products are vegan, sulfate-free and silicone-free. We are also gluten-free and certified cruelty-free.

Is the stretch mark balm vegan?

Our Mother Stretch Mark Balm is vegetarian but contains beeswax so is not fully vegan. However, our Mother Stretch Mark Oil is vegan, as is the rest of the Cowshed range of lotions and body oils.

Wonderful balm, a real treat for your skin

Amazing Product!

I started to use this product last month and it smells really great! No stretch mark so far even my belly is growing !! This balm is really amazing!

Best on the market

I've tried so many mama' creams on the market but this balm is seriously the best it warms up as you rub it in which makes it abit of a morning and evening ritual plus it smells divine. No stretch marks after baby no.1 on to baby no.2 and have stocked up ready to use from earlier on in my pregnancy. Would recommend

Wonderful and nourishing balm

I purchased the balm after being recommended by a friend. It's such a luxury feel balm and such a gorgeous smell. A little bit goes a long way and the balm is super nourishing. I apply before bed but it doesn't leave that super oily sticky feel. I would highly recommend and looking forward to trying more than products.

Love this product

It applies wonderfully to skin and smells great. Too soon tk say if it will actually reduce or prevent stretch marks but I have had it recommended that it does!

Really nice balm for mums to be! Hard texture at first but rub a little in your hands and it melts into a nice texture and can be applied to bump. Smells lovely and so far no stretch marks at 28 weeks.

I love the texture of this product and it smells great. A little goes a long way.

Highly recommend!

Lovely gentle smell and the balm is a beautiful texture. Much more hydrating than a stretch mark cream and seems to be absorbed better than an oil.

not just for stretch marks!

I use this as a moisturiser in the cold. My skin gets extraordinarily dry and this is so enriching and softens my skin perfectly. I had an incredible treatment once at the cowshed in primrose hill and the therapist used this as a the moisturiser and I have been hooked since. Great for all over the body.

Fabulous product

Was drawn to buying this product due to the ingredients. I was after a product that would support my pregnant skin and smell nice at the same time. The balm is a little thick to get out of the tub but melts into the skin. I have recommended to friends also on their pregnancy journey.
