We use an amino acid cleansing system that gently cleanses the skin without stripping natural oils, helping to maintain balance and support overall hair health. This helps respect the skin barrier and are suitable for daily use. Our formulations are also vegan and free of parabens and mineral oils.

Is this product suitable for sensitive skin?

This formula is designed to be gentle and skin-respectful, using naturally derived ingredients, amino acid cleansers, and botanical extracts that help support the skin barrier. We don't use any sulfates or silicones to ensure our products are non-drying. However, as with all skincare, we recommend checking the full ingredient list and carrying out a patch test if you have known sensitivities.

My daughters recently took me on an overnight stay at The Ned and they use Cowshed products in their room and in the spa. I was hooked and immediately I got home I ordered them for my home. Product wonderful as always however in this delivery there was a very strong scent in the box and on the bottles that was quite overpowering and detracted from the more organic and subtle nature of the product itself. Bottles still smell strongly of it.

Love the fragrance and the new look is a nice change, the only complaint I have is that the bottle is very hard to squeeze if you have arthritic hands - can you please put a pump with it rather than having to pour/squeeze.

Had this on subscription for years but just received my first bottle with the new branding and it doesn’t smell like the same product. Before it was a really clean smell and now it smells smokey and more woody. It’s not terrible but I loved the old scent. Been trying to change the product in my subscription but looks like I’ll have to cancel and start again so gonna go to the house to see what the others smell like since the rebrand because I don’t want to risk another 500ml!
