Frequently asked questions

What is the burn time?

Approximately 40 hours, offering long-lasting fragrance and consistent performance.

What is the wax made from?

Our candles are made using a carefully balanced wax blend, developed to deliver both a high-quality burn and a refined fragrance experience. The wax is designed to hold and release scent evenly, allowing it to gently fill the room from first light to last. It also supports a clean, even burn, helping to minimise tunnelling while maintaining a smooth, elegant finish throughout the life of the candle.

Is this candle vegan?

Yes, this candle is vegan and certified cruelty-free. It is designed with high-quality, plant-based ingredients inspired by Cowshed's British spa heritage.

How should I care for the candle?

Trim the wick to approximately 5mm before each use. Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time. Allow a full wax pool to form on first burn. Keep away from draughts, children, and pets.

Absolutely lovely. Beautiful scent.

I didn’t realise how much I needed this candle until I started lighting it every evening. The lavender is properly calming (not the fake, overly sweet kind), and the eucalyptus gives it that clean, spa-like freshness.

Now it’s the first thing I reach for when I get home. Shoes off, candle lit, instant shift in mood. It makes my whole flat feel quieter somehow. Genuinely one of those small things that makes a big difference.

This is so wonderful to hear, thank you so much for this thoughtful review! I am thrilled the candle has become part of your evening ritual and that it brings such a calm, spa like feeling to your home. Izzy @ Cowshed
