Place on heat resistant surface in a draft-free area. For first burn, burn for a minimum of three hours and a maximum of four hours to ensure wax burns down evenly and to maximise candle longevity. Trim candle wick to 5mm before each burn. Centre the wick after each burn before wax has solidified.

Yes - this formula is vegan, with no animal-derived ingredients, and is certified cruelty-free. Our formulations are also free of parabens, mineral oils, sulfates, and silicones. We manufacture in the UK and use high-quality, plant-based ingredients inspired by Cowshed's British spa heritage.

No, our full range is free of parabens and mineral oils. Cowshed products are vegan, sulfate-free and silicone-free. We are also gluten-free and certified cruelty-free.

Is this product suitable for sensitive skin?

This formula is designed to be gentle and skin-respectful, using naturally derived ingredients, amino acid cleansers, and botanical extracts that help support the skin barrier. We don't use any sulfates or silicones to ensure our products are non-drying. However, as with all skincare, we recommend checking the full ingredient list and carrying out a patch test if you have known sensitivities.

Is this product sulfate free?

Yes, all Cowshed bath and shower gels are both sulfate-free and silicone-free. We use an amino acid cleansing system that gently cleanses the skin without stripping natural oils, helping to maintain balance and support overall hair health. This helps respect the skin barrier and are suitable for daily use. Our formulations are also vegan and free of parabens and mineral oils.
