The fresh, floral and bright bouquet of our Indulge collection compliments an extended evening bathing ritual - we’re thinking candles, a glass of wine and a page-turner…
The yellow flowers of the ylang ylang tree are steam-distilled to produce a delicate, sweet and floral essential oil. A keen favourite in aromatherapy, the scent is known to soothe the mind, making feelings of stress and tension seem more manageable. On the skin it is thought to balance oil production while delivering moisture and calming any irritation.
Balancing out the rich florals is palmarosa essential oil with a scent that fluctuates between light and herbal and rosy and lemon-y. The fragrant leaves of this grass-like plant have been used for centuries in the practice of bathing: crushing the leaves and sprinkling into a warm bath released the delightful scent into the air. Nourishing and restorative for the skin, it is also used to ease restlessness, soothe the body and help you sink into a state of pure relaxation.
The floral theme is continued with rose absolute essential oil. Oil of rose is another long-standing beauty staple, with tried and tested toning, hydrating and calming properties. Intrinsically feminine and romantic, rose absolute is loved for encouraging feelings of serenity and wellbeing. Restorative for both body and mind, it takes you to a soothing, more luxurious place.
